A pair of solid 9 carat gold Scallop shells suspended from 9 carat gold huggie hoops in our 'Those Happy Places' collection.
This Scallop shell was found by Serena on Oxwich Bay, Gower, South Wales.
As with all of the shells in our 'Those Happy Places' collection, we then carefully make a direct cast of the shell to make exact copies in solid gold and silver to create jewellery that can remind us of our happy places everyday.
The mesmerisingly beautiful, ribbed fan of scallop shells make them a popular collectable, if you are lucky enough to find a complete one.
Their radial spread is reminiscent of Oxwich's expansive, tranquil bay and gentle waves.
