A pair of solid 9 carat gold Whelk shells suspended from a pair of solid 9 carat gold huggie hoops. 

This Whelk was found on Port Isaac, Cornwall. 

Used largely as a Port rather than a holiday-goer's sunbathing spot, most would not suspect Port Isaac to be a treasure trove of the daintiest, most romantically structured shells. 

Hiding amongst the fishing vessel chains and pebbles is an enchanting selection of spiralling, delicate beauties, this one being a perfect example.
