Langland Studs

A Cowrie shell found on Langland Bay, Gower, South Wales. 

Cowries, with their widely admired, enchanting appearance are hugely sought after by avid shell collectors.

One of their many allegories is luck and Langland Bay is generously scattered with them which is charmingly symbolic. 

A solid, recycled 9 carat gold pair of studs. 

The Cowrie shell measures approximately 1.8cm x 1cm.
